Join ASPS!
The Arkansas Society of Psychological Sciences (ASPS) is a professional organization promoting psychology education, research, and practice across Arkansas. ASPS serves as a platform for students, educators, and professionals in psychology to connect, share ideas, and advance their knowledge.
Why join ASPS?
Members can attend any of our three annual ASPS events:
- Arkansas Symposium for Psychology Students (ASPS): A conference aimed at providing students with opportunities to present their research, network with peers, and gain valuable insights into the field of psychology.
- Winter Session: The ASPS Winter Session is typically held on the first Saturday of December.
- Spring Session: The ASPS Spring Session is typically held on the third Saturday of April
- Arkansas Teachers of Psychology (ATOP): A conference designed for psychology educators, offering workshops, resources, and discussions to enhance teaching practices and support the professional development of teachers (but open and welcoming to non-teachers of psychology as well!).
Additionally, joining the Arkansas Society of Psychological Sciences through the MemberPress platform provides exclusive access to:
- A wide range of resources and information about psychology.
- Opportunities to connect with other members of the psychological sciences community.
- Updates on upcoming events, conferences, and professional development opportunities.
ASPS is a hub for fostering collaboration and innovation in psychology within Arkansas and surrounding states, making it an essential organization for students, educators, and professionals.
